Here’s another song I wrote after i came through a bad patch in my life. Afterwards I realized that, although it’s a cliche, it’s true when they say ‘It’s what’s inside that counts’. All my outer success came when i worked on myself from the inside.

As a society, so much of the time we’re obsessing about how we look - the latest anti aging skin care treatments, anti aging products, weight loss surgery or other cosmetic surgery and so on. All this to fix the outside when it’s inside that we should be changing and developing.

This song explains this realization I had. It’s simple but really catchy with the melody and arrangement:

I was lonely and scared, didn’t think I had anyone to turn to,

Always crying ‘cos I was frustrated.

Unaware You were there through all of the struggle and the pain,

I felt like dying – but God I’m so glad You waited–

‘Cos I pulled through, and I found out soon

It was not a case of if but of when.
